What makes Nicki Minaj's new album 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded' is that it sounds like she knocked it out in an afternoon. Maybe this is the case, and the whole thing is one big joke and she'll release the real follow up to her actually-quite-brilliant 'Pink Friday' next week. Haha and lol etc.
As it stands, 'Roman Reloaded' is one of the most disappointing second albums of all time.
But the US rapper is in good company because some of the biggest names in music struggled with their second albums, and if the likes of Kasabian can bounce back from as lacklustre a record as 'Empire' to become on of the UK's biggest headliners, then there's hope for everyone.
