- 37. Motorhead: ‘Ace of Spades’ - Desperados in tight denim and bullet belts, this is one of the most clichéd filthy metal covers of all time, with Lemmy and co. tracking through the desert like true cowboys from rock and roll hell. The truth paints a much less metal picture, however - the photo shoot took place on a pile of builder's sand in the middle of a busy London street. Tragically brilliant!

The Beatles' 'Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' album cover has been re-designed to celebrate Sir Peter Blake's 80th birthday.
The artwork for the 1967 album features the likes of Bob Dylan, Karl Marx, Oscar Wilde, William S. Burroughs, Marlon Brando, and Marilyn Monroe and is widely regarded as one of the most iconic pieces of album artwork. It has been updated to include the likes of Amy Winehouse, Kate Moss, JK Rowling, Noel Gallagher, Paul Weller, John Peel and many more.
