Bruce Springsteen has spoken out about the death of his friend and bandmate, Clarence Clemons.
The singer, who scored a No.1 with latest album 'Wrecking Ball' last week, admitted that he burst out in tears when he heard first heard Clemons' saxophone parts on track ''Land Of Hopes And Dreams'.
Speaking to Rolling Stone, he said: "When the solo section hit, Clarence's sax filled the room. I cried.
"This is as direct a record as I ever madeThat's with the possible exception of Nebraska, which this record has a lot in common with.''
Bruce Springsteen will headline this year's Isle Of Wight festival along with Pearl Jam and Tom Petty.
