Reading and Leeds festival: The most memorable moments

Reading And Leeds festival 2010 belonged to The Libertines, thousands watched as Pete Doherty and Carl Barat took to the stage to perform some of their most loved tracks. It may have not been the smoothest set but as the pair finished ‘I Get Along’ everyone felt a little moment.

With the sun shining into the office it seems summer will be here in no time – and we can't bloody wait!

Glastonbury is taking a year off in 2012, and it looks like tickets for Reading and Leeds festival will be this year's must-go festival, with the full line-up due to be announced tonight.

Fans will be able to buy tickets as soon as the line-up is announced at 7.15pm (GMT) on March 12.

To celebrate one of the UK's biggest annual live music events, Gigwise thought it would only be right to look back at what has made Reading And Leeds festival one of the most loved in the country.

From that unforgettable Libertines reunion in 2010 to The Strokes first headline set in 2002, this is Reading and Leeds Festival: The Most Memorable Moments.
