Tickets for V Festival 2012, set to take place later this year, go on sale today (February 29) at 9am.

The Stone Roses and The Killers have been announced as headliners for this year's V festival.

The bands will top the bill from August 18-19 at Hylands Park, Essex and Weston Park, Staffordshire.

Other acts also on the line-up include Noel Gallagher, Happy Mondays, Nicki Minaj, Friendly Fires, Miles Kane and Tinie Tempah.
