The 54th annual Grammy Awards took place in Los Angeles, with some of the biggest names in music all taking to the red carpet.

Following the sudden death of singer Whitney Houston on Saturday (February 11) this year's Grammy Awards paid homage to the late Houston as well as celebrating some of the biggest achievements in music over the past year.

Other big names included Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Adele, Fergie, Katy Perry, Maroon 5 and Bruno Mars.

Nicki Minaj, Diana Ross, Kelly Rowland also posed for photographers ahead of the ceremony. You can see all the highlights below on Gigwise.
