So 2011 has left us and is just a distant memory, but as we embark on a brand spanking new 365 days of music, the lovely people at The Official Charts Company have released the Top 10 selling Rock Albums of 2011.

With 'pop' music officially outselling rock in 2011 lets cross our fingers and dig deep in our pockets to put a stop to this nonsense in 2012.

There are slots for Noah & The Whale, Florence & The Machine and Snow Patrol, but who has topped the Rock Chart?
