Juliette Lewis has criticised Lana Del Rey's recent performance on Saturday Night Live – you can watch it below.

The rising star appeared on the established US show on Saturday night (January 14), where she performed tracks 'Video Games' and 'Blue Jeans.

Actress Lewis took to Twitter to slam the singer's performance:

Wow watching this 'singer' on SNL is like watching a 12 yearold in their bedroom when theyre pretending to sing and perform #signofourtimes

Last week. Lana Del Rey responded to reports that her planned appearance on Saturday Night Live was a 'fluke decision'.

''I got it because I'm a good musician," she said. "And I may not have a record out now, but I have been singing for a very long time, and I think that ['SNL' creator] Lorne Michaels knows that, and everyone over there knows that.''

Her forthcoming debut album 'Born To Die', is set for release January 30 in the UK and June 31 in the US.
