Yes it's that time of year again, it's Celebrity Big Brother, a programme that is still wistfully reaching for the heights that it reached when John McCririck sat around in a nappy flicking bogies and mugging people for diet coke.
This year is the usual trend of contestants, the alienated American contestant who looks like they've just been kicked off the plane, the glamour model (in this case three), the old eccentric TV personality, the urban star, the "rebel" and the reality TV star.
