XBox 360 Dashboard Update 'Slightly Delayed'

Those waiting anxiously for the XBox 360 Dashboard update to be released will have to be a little more patient, as it has been revealed that there is a slight delay before it goes live.
Microsoft's big reveal was due to take place at 10.00am EST (3.00pm GMT) but, ten minutes later, there is still no sign of the update.
Major Nelson, speaking on behalf of XBox, said via Twitter: "The timing for Xbox 360 update has been slightly delayed", and added that there would be a further status update later in the day.
There has so far been no reason given as to why there is a delay, although it is recommended to perhaps wait a day or two before attempting to download the new version.
