November 24 2011 - The Friendly Fires are a band that have shot to stardom with a novel take on the indie music scene that drastically broadens the appeal of it's sound by fusing excellent songwriting with elements of electronica.
Last night Ed MacFarlane and his band mates took the stage on the first of three sold-out dates at Brixton Academy.
Following the barrage of cancellations, alongside a subsequent miraculous recovery from laryngitis it's great to see the band back on the road, saving the thousands of fans from disappointment along the way.
With SBTRKT supporting the tour dates are no doubt going to go down a storm with a broad fanbase unlike any other.
