November 06 2011 - Last Sunday saw thrash-metal legends Slayer perform at the Auditorium Shores in Austin, Texas as part of the in-appropriately named Fun Fun Fun Festival.
Ironically booked on the Lord's Day, the band - known for their criticism of Christianity - played a selective 'best of' type set, featuring classic hits like 'Angel Of Death' and 'South Of Heaven' taken from their mammoth 11 album back-catalogue.
Sunday's billing saw Slayer supported by the likes of Danzig, The Damned, Black Lips and Cannibal Corpse.
Playing on the more indie-orientated stage were Spoon, Passion Pit, Girls, Lykke Li and Blonde Redhead.
The line-up also featured a lot of rap and hip-hop acts, such as Odd Future, Public Enemy and Flying Lotus.
Slayer's most recent release was the 2009 studio album 'World Painted Blood'.
