October 24 2011 – Stars of the music world gather in London for the 2011 edition of the Q Awards.
Nominees including Kasabian, Tinie Tempah and Jessie J all walked the red carpet at the Grosvenor House Hotel.
Other nominees included Biffy Clyro, Beyonce, Coldplay and Noel Gallagher.
Adele beat off competition from Beyonce, Laura Marling, PJ Harvey and Jessie J to take home Best Female Act.
Tinie Tempah picked up Best Male Artist, beating Cee Lo Green, Wretch 32, Ed Sheeran and Example.
Ed Sheeran was named Breakthrough Artist as Bon Iver won Best Album and Biffy Clyro picked up Best Live Act.
U2 received a special award after being voted The Greatest Act Of The Last 25 Years by the magazine's readers.
