October 18 2011 – The Stone Roses have today delighted fans with news that they will reunite for two special homecoming gigs in Manchester.
The band announced at a press conference in London this afternoon that all original members - Ian Brown, Mani, John Squire and Reni, - will play two dates at Machester's Heaton Park, on June 29 and 30 2012.
It seems everybody is jumping on the wagon at the moment with the likes of The Libertines, Take That, Pulp, The Smashing Pumpkins and Pink Floyd all giving it a go.
News of The Stone Roses reunion got Gigwise thinking of who else should really make up and get back together.
Our gallery includes the likes of Slade, The Kinks, NWA and Oasis - think of any more? Leave your comments below on Gigwise.
