October 7 2011 – Death From Above 1979 played the first of their two UK shows at Manchester Academy last night.
These new dates follow two shows at the London Forum in May, which marked Sebastien Grainger and Jesse Keeler's first show in five years.
The Toronto-based band have only released one album, 2004's 'You're a Woman, I'm a Machine', which received critical acclaim and was certified gold in Canada in July 2006.
The duo played such tracks as Black History Month', Romantic Rights' and Blood on Our Hands'.
