The first review for Batman: Arkham City has been posted on the internet, with the game scoring a mighty 92 per cent.

German magazine Play 3 had the honour of being the first people to get their hands on the follow up to Batman: Arkham City, and their massive expecations were suitably blown wide apart, NeoGAF reports.

The review calls it: "Huge, exciting and beautiful. The best superhero game ever made."

Another website, Australia's OPM, were also able to review the game, scoring it at 10/10 and calling it: "one of the best games ever made."

Batman: Arkham City is released on XBox 360 and PS3 on October 21, with a PC release delayed until November.

Must buy games for Christmas...
