After Oli Sykes Is Attacked Onstage: What Happens When Gigs Go Wrong

Gigwise takes a look at the worst live gigs...

  • Two Gallants. October 2006 @ Walter's on Washington, Houston - After a local made a noise complaint, police arrived on the scene to 'sort' things out. Somehow Two Gallants frontman Adam Stephens together the band's manager and two audience members were tazered by police. Police alleged that Stephens had pushed an attending officer and used a “sexual obscenity” - the singer strenuously denied this.

It seems every band loves an eager fan but that certainly wasn't the case for Bring Me The Horizon's Oli Sykes who was attacked onstage during the band's recent show in Salt Lake City.

The frontman, who was performing in the US as part of the band's current headline tour, was attacked after members of the crowd starting throwing bottles and other objects onstage.

Sykes then addressed the crowd members personally and asked them to either leave or to come onstage, which they then did.

Oli Sykes is certainly not the first to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, in response Gigwise has taken a look at some of the most disastrous live shows ever.

Our round-up includes the likes of Pink Floyd, My Chemical Romance, Lady Gaga and The Stone Roses – check them and the rest out in the gallery below and leave your thoughts in the comment form.
