The Hop Farm festival 2012 will take place in Kent from Friday 29 June - July 1, it has been announced.
This year's festival saw performances from Prince, Eagles, Morrissey, Bryan Ferry, Brandon Flowers, Iggy and the Stooges, Lou Reed and Patti Smith.
In a statement festival organiser Vince Power, said: “We had an amazing year this year. For me personally it was one of the best festivals I’ve done, ever. Having Prince close the festival was phenomenal. Eagles and Morrissey played amazing headline sets too. Given that Prince’s performance at Hop Farm was one of the defining festival moments of 2011 we’re working even harder to ensure 2012 surpasses everyone’s expectations.”
2012 will see the festival stay as a 3-day event, maintaining its No Sponsorship, No Branding, No Secondary Ticketing, No VIPs and No Registration ethos.
