The 2011 Mercury Prize winner will be announced in London tonight (September 6), so Gigwise thought it was time to remind you just who is nominated this year.
Adele, Elbow, Tinie Tempah, James Blake, PJ Harvey, Anna Calvi, Metronomy are all shortlisted for the award. The remaining nominees are Everything Everything, Katy B, Gwilym Simcoc, Ghostpoet and King Cresote & John Hopkins.
In order to be eligible to receive a nomination, the album must have been released over the past 12 months - you can see the full countdown in the Gigwise round-up below.
