August 7 2011 - Morrissey played the first of two London shows at Brixton Academy earlier tonight.

The singer who has been in the news in recent weeks following his comments about the terror attack in Norway kicked off his show with some of his best known songs, including 'You're The One For Me, Fatty' and 'Irish Blood, English Heart'.

Morrissey will play a second show in the capital tomorrow night at the Palladium in central London.
