The week has been surrounded by the sad news that singer Amy Winehouse had died in her Camden flat on Saturday July 23. Since the news broke, musicians and singers such as Lily Allen, Lady Gaga and George Michael have been sharing their memories and paying tribute to the ‘Back To Black’ performer, including the inclusion of a memorial concert from her close friend Mark Ronson.

In other music news, Marcus Mumford got engaged to actress Carey Mulligan, Facebook banned the use of Nirvana’s ‘Nevermind’ album cover, Lady Gaga announced her wishes to be ordained as a minister and Morrissey was caught in yet another controversial outburst.
