After compiling Gigwise's Favourite Album Covers Of 2011 so far earlier this month, we thought it was about time we celebrated the Oddest Album Covers Of 2011 too.
In no particular order, Gigwise’s round-up includes artwork that varies from the weird and wonderful – such as Bjork's 'Crystalline', Radiohead's 'The King Of Limbs', Mastodon's 'The Hunter' and Battles' 'Gloss Drop' – the completely unimaginative offerings of Arctic Monkeys' 'Suck It And See' and Cher Lloyd's self-titled debut, onto the downright wrong – see Lil Wayne's rumoured artwork for his forthcoming album 'Tha Carter IV' and Beady Eye's 'Different Gear, Still Speeding'.
There is also a plethora of illustrated offerings in this year's batch, including Explosions In The Sky's strange 'Take Care, Take Care, Take Care', Chris Brown's cluttered 'Fame' and Peter Bjorn And John's morbid arm stump that graces the front of 'Gimme Some'.
You can see them all in the photo gallery below. What have we missed? Leave you thoughts in the comment form – and if you're logged into Facebook you can comment straight away.
