This week saw the release of the next phase of Bjork's multi-media project, 'Biophilia'.
The Icelandic musician has collaborated with app developers, scientists, writers, inventors, musicians, and instrument makers to create a unique exploration of the universe and its physical forces—particularly those where music, nature and technology meet.
The project is inspired by and explores these relationships between musical structures and natural phenomena, from the atomic to the cosmic.
To celebrate the launch of the 'Biophilia' app, Bjork has kindly given Gigwise a behind-the-scenes look at what you can expect. The app is available to download now.
