July 2 2011 – The Flaming Lips headlined the first ever Jodrell Bank transmission festival over the weekend.

The event, which takes place right next to Lovell telescope, also included performances from British Sea Power, Alice Gold, OK GO and Wave Machines.

The Flaming Lips closed the event, performing such tracks as 'She Don’t Use Jelly', 'Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots', 'The Yeah Yeah Yeah Song',' Race For The Prize' and 'Do You Realize?'
