June 10 2011 - The Download festival in Donington kicked off with a headline performance from Def Leppard.

Day one of the festival, which takes place over three days, also saw a comeback performance from The Darkness on the main stage, as well as set from Korn and Alter Bridge.

Pendulum headlined the second stage, while other performances came from Children Of Bodem, Alter Bridge and Bring Me The Horizon.
