- Kanye West Performs At Gil Scott-Heron Memorial Service - Kanye West was among the musicians who attended Gil Scott-Heron’s memorial service in New York on Thursday (June 2). The rapper closed the public service with a performance of ‘Lost In The World’, taken from his 2010 album ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’. The track samples the line “Who will survive in America?”, whish is taken from the late musician and poet’s ‘Comment #1’.
