May 22 2011 – The annual Billboard Music Awards took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
The ceremony attracted a star-studded guest list, including Britney Spears, Rihanna, Nas, Mary J Blige, Taylor Swift, Kylie Minogue, Justin Bieber, and Selena Gomez.
Performances at the the event came from the likes of Nicki Minaj, who teamed up with Spears, and Beyonce, who performed her new single 'Run The World (Girls)'. Winners included Eminem, Cee Lo Green, Shakira, Neil Diamond and Lady Gaga.
