Beyonce has released the video for her hotly anticipated new single 'Run The World (Girls)' – and now you can see exclusive behind the scenes shots from the video shoot on Gigwise.

Directed by Francis Lawrence, the video was filmed in Los Angeles and the Mojave Desert, and includes over 200 extras.

'Run The World (Girls)' is the first single to be taken from Beyonce's forthcoming new album, which is entitled '4'. It is due to be released on June 28.

Beyonce is scheduled to headline the Glastonbury festival in Somerset this year alongside Coldplay and U2.
