A letter written from John Lennon to Beatles bandmate Paul McCartney that reveals deep conflicts within the band, is up for auction next month.

Being in a rock band is a herd life – all the free booze, drugs and fame but for many bands it all becomes too much. With the clashing of egos, Gigwise thought it was time to look at some of the greatest band bust-ups.
