To support Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl's claim that all modern music stars are short, Gigwise has taken a look at the musicians and singers that support his point.
Grohl, who measures up at 6' on the nose (or hair), has said he remembers a time when all the members of bands were tall.
But if you look back at music through the years – from Ringo Starr in the 60s right up to today and the pintsize Aston Merrygold of JLS – there's always been stars who are not as big as their music.
