December 30 2010 - Sonic Youth performed a special one-off show at the Academy in Manchester.
The hotly-anticipated gig saw the US band play a career-spanning set, including the songs from their most recent album ‘The Eternal’.
It also served as a warm-up for Sonic Youth’s New Years Eve gig in London tonight (December 31).
The band will headline All Tomorrow's Parties (ATP) Strange Days event at Hammersmith Apollo alongside Shellac and Factory Floor, as well as guest DJs. For more details, check out Gigwise Gig Tickets.
