As the curtain comes down on 2010, Gigwise has taken a look at the music stars who died during the last twelve months.
Following the death of Jay Reatard in January, the music world lost some of its most revered stars, including Captain Beefheart, former Stereophonics drummer Stuart Cable and Slipknot founder Paul Gray.
Two of the most treasured members of Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes also died in 2010, with soul singer Bernard Wilson passing away on December 26.
