October 11 2010 - The Charlatans UK tour arrived in Liverpool for a sold-out show at the Academy.
The band thrilled fans with a career-spanning set, which included tracks from their new album 'Who We Touch'.
They were accompanied by The Verve's Pete Salisbury, who is standing in for drummer Jon Brookes while he recovers from a brain tumour. Brookes was taken ill last month during the band's US tour.
Support came from Happy Mondays star Shaun Ryder. The Charlatans tour continues on Thursday (October 14) in Leeds.
