The 2010 Mercury Prize will be handed out at a ceremony in London on Tuesday (September 6).
A panel of music industry judges have a shortlist of twelve albums to chose from, all of which were released over the past 12 months.

Previous recipients of the Mercury Prize include Elbow, Arctic Monkeys, Suede and Dizzee Rascal.
