Lady GaGa has discussed collaborating on a single with Britney Spears, according to reports.
The two singers are understood to have been introduced at the Grammy Awards earlier this month.
Lady GaGa, who has spoken in the past of her admiration for Spears, is said to be keen for the pair to enter the studio later this year.
A source told The Sun: "At the end of the chat, they exchanged numbers and agreed to go into the studio and work on music together as soon as GaGa finishes her Fame Monster tour."
The UK leg of Lady GaGa's world tour is due to start in Manchester on February 18 and also includes dates in London, Cardiff and Newcastle.
Support at the dates will come from Alphabeat.
Meanwhile, the singer will also perform at the BRIT awards in London on February 16, where she is favourite to win three awards.
