Morrissey abandoned a gig in Liverpool on Saturday after he was hit on the head by a drink.
The former Smiths star was just two songs into his set at the Echo Arena when the incident happened.
According to the Liverpool Daily Post, the missile, a half full plastic pint glass, was thrown from the audience.
Morrissey, who was performing ‘Black Cloud’ at the time, walked from the stage, followed by his band.
After a 25-minute delay a member of the singer’s road crew announced that the show had been abandoned.
The incident marks a sour end to what has been a troubled UK tour for the star, who collapsed on stage during a gig in Swindon last month.
Morrissey is scheduled to begin dates in continental Europe in Holland on Monday.

- Stupid scousers. I mean seriously, why would anyone throw a drink at the artist they had paid to see play.
Not to mention a waste of a good drink.
- I think Mozza is out of order. Why make thousands suffer because of one idiot. I doubt the fans are going to get their money back too

- i think he's right to walk off. hope the knob that threw it got a good slap. 2 wrongs sometimes make a right!
- The Echo Arena has a history or problems such as this since it opened - so much so that local MP's are calling for an alcohol ban at the arena. This incident will only reinforce their view. I don't particularly like 'stadium' gigs but the couple of times i have been has been marred by knob head loutish scallies who seem to get a little too excited who constantly lob abuse at the artist they have probably paid £35+ for a ticket. Utter pointless.
