Beyonce dominated the MTV Europe Music Awards in Berlin last night, scooping three awards.
The 28-year-old singer beat Leona Lewis to the Best Female award and also took home the Best Song award for 'Halo'.
Picking up her third award of the night – Best Video for 'Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)' – Beyonce told the crowd: “There's only one person I want to thank and that is Jay for putting a ring on it."
U2 won the Best Live Act award after earlier performing with Jay-Z at the Brandenburg Gate to mark the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.
Jay-Z scooped the Best Urban Act gong, while nauseating German outfit Tokio Hotel won Best Group and Eminem won Best Male.
Other winners included Pixie Lott (MTV Push Artist) and Linkin Park (Best World Stage Performance) and Placebo (Best Alternative Band).
Hosted by Katy Perry for the second year in a row, the MTV EMAs ceremony was watched in more than 500million homes around the globe.
