Foo Fighters and Jay-Z are among the acts set to perform at tonight's MTV Europe Music Awards in Berlin.
Leona Lewis and Green Day are also due to appear at the event, which will be hosted by Katy Perry.
Beyonce will also perform during the ceremony, as well as air the video to her new single, 'Video Phone', which features Lady GaGa.
The singer leads the nominations with four nods, including Best Female and Best Song.
Lady GaGa, meanwhile, will face off against La Roux, Pixie Lott, Taylor Swift and Daniel Merriweather for Best New Act.
Other nominees include Muse, who are up for Best Alternative Act, and Coldplay.
Perry, who is currently dating comedian Russell Brand, is returning to host the awards ceremony for a second year running.
She has vowed to top her appearance in 2008, which featured more than ten costume changes and a giant chapstick prop.
