Manic Street Preachers: 'Journal For Plague Lovers' (2009) - A haunting painting from Jenny Saville adorned the Manics' ninth studio album, 15 years after she supplied the seminal sleeve for 'The Holy Bible' . Sadly four major UK supermarkets censored the cover after they deemed it too offensive for shoppers, claiming the red on the girl's face looks like blood when it is in fact a birthmark. A brilliant image.
