Tuesday October 20, 2009 – Green Day's UK tour rolls into the Odyssey Arena in Belfast. Sporting a new peroxide blonde haircut, singer Billie-Joe Armstrong was in his element throughout, including the now trademark moment when he invited a crowd-surfing kid up on stage. We go to about a dozen concerts a year and I swear, this was probably my best ever. They even topped AD/DC in London's O2 in April. Billie Joe has such stage presence, only one close is Mick Jagger! Really great night with non stop music. I hope they don't leave it as long to come back the next time.
