The Police - Sting is a bit like a living boost to Bono's image. As long as The Police man is in the same room then Bono looks far less of a smug annoyance. Anything like the horrible ska lite tones of 'Roxanne' or 'Don't Stand So Close To Me' would surely drive any discerning music fan to insanity in seconds. Add a hundred thousand people, bad sanitary conditions and a distinct lack of sleep mixed with alcohol and you' have all the ingredients for a riot. Nobody wants to see Sting caught in a riot more than us but death and destruction are the ultimate bad festival vibe so lets just say Mr Eavis, please don't ever book The Police.

- i disagree with all of them! apart from the police, kasabian and the killers.

- Kasabian would be the best headline act of this pony festival. You are talking total garb.

- Kasabian would be a 'disaster'? Are you kidding me?! It's about time a band like Kasabian shook this aging festival up a bit!!

- At this point, I think I'd see the Libs anywhere I could, even under less than ideal circumstances like a festival.

- a bit pathetic, gigwise.
