Representatives of Marilyn Manson have denied the star has swine flu.
Last week, the singer posted a message on his MySpage page claiming he had been diagnosed with the disease by doctors.
In the statement – which has since been removed – Manson wrote: "Unfortunately, I am going to survive."
However, the Gillett Entertainment Group and Live Nation issued a press release on Friday denying Manson had contracted swine flu.
According to the Canadian Press, the statement also said he was due to conclude his North American tour as scheduled over the weekend in Halifax and Moncton.
