Last week, Gigwise crowned Katie Price and Peter Andre's 'A Whole New World' as the worst album of the decade ahead of such atrocities as Crazy Frog's 'Greatest Hits' and The Jonas Brothers' 'A Little Bit Longer'. Now, we're very proud to unveil The 50 Greatest Albums of the 2000s, as voted for by Gigwise writers. See who makes number one below:

50. Vitalic: 'OK Cowboy' (2005) - The debut album from the French techno DJ was an intelligent and thought-provoking exploration of complex, emotionally-charged dance music. From the pummelling and abrasive tracks ('La Rock 01' / 'Poney Part 2') to the atmospheric and chilled-out ('The Past' / 'U and I'), the record is packed with depth. It also included perhaps the best song about a neglected pony ever committed to plastic to boot.

I was just thinking about this the other day. Can't argue with most of these although I am missing Beck's Sea Change, Bon Iver and CSS.
