Caleb Followhill has admitted that the King's of Leon's schedule over recent months has seen him hit breaking point.
The strain of the constant touring was clear for all to see after the T in the Park set and culminated Followhill destroying his guitar.
27 year-old Followhill told the Daily Record, "I got a bit angry after T In The Park and broke my guitar, so I have to get a new one. We have zero reasons to complain, but I do blame me breaking my guitar on being overworked" before expressing his desire for the band to take a break.
"I would never, ever dream of doing anything to that guitar. It's moments like that where you realise you need a break."
The band have been touring relentlessly over the last year in support of their “Because of the Times” album. On the 7th August they embark on a North American tour that will see them play thirty dates and headline the Reading and Leeds festival.
