...or possibly you could be Muse, Phoenix, Franz Ferdinand, Depeche Mode or Placebo (to name a few other UK/Euro bands whose current releases are doing OK in getting airplay in the States). Kasabian's 2006 'Empire' release did reasonably well on radio Stateside, but their current disc doesn't have any really strong tunes which may at least partially explain the relative lack of success.
- And their debut album had a bunch of songs played on radio there, Clubfoot being the most successful of that lot. They are no longer making an impact in America because they are no longer making good music, and the American press isn't blowing smoke up their asses telling them that they are better than they are like the press do here. I think Kasabian are deluded. You can't generalize a whole country because they don't like your music, especially if your music sucks. Wankers!

- First of all...Kasabian are not true musicians, are they educated can they play every style of music with stylistic integrity and receive a wage for doing it? I think not!
Secondly, as an American musician here in the UK I've found most british musicians to be not too bothered to even respond to emails or phone calls. It's an environment of passive interest with these cats again, not every one but most of my experiences have fallen in that ravine. Kasabian is just another band noth

- im not mad just sad that this means i wont be able to see them in the U.S anytime soon p.s there music doesn't suck and they have strong songs on the album
but Kasabian should come to the u.s to gain support cause there music is awsome and some small shows over here in with some standing room only would be ****ing sick tell me that doesnt sound like a party

- I have been listening to Kasabian since I heard Clubfoot in the infamous Pontiac commercial! The public radio here in the US does suck! But to build a following you have to care about the fans who DO support you! Come play the US... I agree with Theo... small venues would be ****ing be sick & fill very quickly!!!!
