Michael Jackson's final performance – a rehearsal for his summer comeback concerts – could be released on CD and DVD, according to reports.
The rehearsal took place at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles last Wednesday - a day before the star's death.
Source close to Jackson told The Wrap that the performance had been filmed in multi-camera, high definition video as part of a deal with AEG Live, the promotion company behind Jackson's live return.
The website claims an AEG official told a colleague: “We have a live album in the can.”
Photographs of Jackson performing at the Staples Centre have already appeared in various publications.
It has been claimed that the star performed well at the rehearsal, which included his full backing band and dance group.
According to reports, Jackson's show at London's O2 Arena would have seen the audience wear special 3D glasses during 'Thriller', which would have seen the star perform inside a haunted house.
Jackson died last Thursday following a suspected cardiac arrest. He was 50.
