It sounds like Blur are not just one of these bands reforming for the sake of the money as so many seem to be. It seems they have reformed because of their collective love of music and the joy it brings them sharing their own creations with the world. Could Blur be better after a break? Was it what the band needed? From what I've heard since they got back together it sounds like it, absence makes the heart grow fonder and all that. Lets hope for new material now!
Quite simply it was the best perfomance I have ever seen from Blur and IMO the best I have ever seen at Glasto (Seen Macca, Wilson, Bowie too!). Was right up the front and it was just a fantastic, unbelievable night. Right, I need more sleep to catch up on while I rejoin life as we know it....
