Interpol's Paul Banks is set to release a solo album this summer under the moniker of Julian Plenti.
The record, entitled 'Skyscraper', will be released on August 4 via Matador with the material being described as having a “cocky, sexy” feel.
According to Billboard, Banks has been recording songs under the Plenti name for several years and some of the tracks from the album were written up to ten years ago.
Meanwhile, Interpol are curently writing and recording new material for the follow up to 2007's 'Our Love To Admire'.
