Alison Mosshart of The Kills was last night rushed to hospital in Colorado after cutting a gig short.
The band were playing in Boulder at the Fox Theatre as part of their current US tour when Mosshart was taken ill and left the stage.
Their publicist later confirmed that the singer had been suffering from a combination of a cold and altitude sickness which has caused her to be short of breath while singing.
Mosshart was later released from hospital after undergoing observation for a short time and now plans to continue on with the rest of the tour.
