Britney Spears' former boyfriend, photographer Adnan Ghalib, has been banned from seeing the singer for three years.
The restraining order, sought by Spears' father, Jamie, was approved by a US judge yesterday (March 19th).
It means Ghalib, who briefly dated Spears at the beginning of 2008, is prevented from making physical, phone or email contact with the singer and her family.
The order will remain in place until March 2012, according to the Associated Press news agency.
Jamie Spears has already been granted a restraining order against the singer's former manager Sam Lufti.
Both Ghalib and Lufti were connected to Spears' affairs during her high profile child custody battle last year.
Spears is currently on a US tour in support of her latest album 'Circus'.
